Jarrod Chin

Jarrod Chin is the Director for Education and Consulting for Mass General Brigham’s Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I). Jarrod oversees all the educational curriculum development for the office, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and meaningful trainings in a variety of settings and audiences across the system.

Before Mass General Brigham, Jarrod served as the Director of Diversity and Inclusion at Partners in Health (PIH), a global health organization with 13 sites internationally. While at PIH, he oversaw all their anti-racism and social justice programming with a focus on recruitment, hiring and employee retention. With two decades of experience in the diversity, equity and inclusion field, Jarrod has written curriculum, facilitated trainings and consulted for numerous sports organizations and non-profits, including the United States Army, the National Football League, Major League Baseball, the National Hockey League, Major League Lacrosse, NASCAR, Futures Without Violence, Athletes for Hope, Playworks, InnerCity Weightlifting, YMCA (Greater Boston) and Men for Equality (Sweden). Jarrod has provided expertise and social commentary for the New York Times, CNN, Sacramento Bee, Boston Globe, Indianapolis Star and other news media publications.

Jarrod holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Connecticut College and an MAT from Northeastern University.
