Jane Moran
Jane Moran is Chief Information and Digital Officer for Mass General Brigham. Jane leads the development, deployment, and efficient operations of technology across the organization. Accelerating Mass General Brigham’s overall technology and digital strategy, Jane is focused on delivering digital health capabilities enhancing the equity and efficiency of healthcare delivery and helping to make medicine more personalized and precise.
In 2024, Jane was appointed to Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey's AI Strategic Task Force, where she contributes to shaping the future of artificial intelligence (AI) and generative AI adoption across the state. The AI Strategic Task Force is responsible for studying AI's impact on various sectors, including healthcare, and developing recommendations for leveraging AI to drive economic growth and innovation.
Jane’s passion for technology stems from her early career as a developer, where she built financial portfolio management and trading software applications. She later became an IT consultant for Fortune 500 companies, implementing large-scale ERP and CRM platforms. With over 25 years of experience in CIO/CTO roles, Jane most recently served as Chief Information Officer and Chief Technology Advisor at Unilever for nearly seven years before joining Mass General Brigham in 2021. She also served as Group CIO at Thomson Reuters. Jane is a non-executive director for JP Morgan Securities, PLC and a member of the Board of Managers for Ensemble Health Partners, LLC.
