Neurologic music therapy
Neurologic Music Therapy (NMT) is the clinical use of music to treat sensory, cognitive, motor, and speech and language dysfunction. Spaulding has integrated these services in both the inpatient and outpatient setting for our patients to reap the benefits of this cutting-edge therapy. Philanthropy would help us sustain this life-changing offering.

Spaulding is committed to supporting these young patients and their families through these vital services. With donor partnership, we can ensure the long-term success of this essential program.

Transformational research

With your support, we can invest in our research team to drive discovery in rehabilitation medicine, bringing novel treatments to patients that much faster.
Discovery Centers: Driving Recovery Research

Schoen Adams Research Institute’s five founding Discovery Centers are hubs of research excellence and innovation for priority areas in rehabilitation medicine.

Your gifts to these centers fuel the type of scientific collaboration, risk-taking, and creativity needed to make the discoveries that will revolutionize the field of recovery and transform lives.

Research Catalyst: Speeding the Science of Recovery

Spaulding’s Research Catalyst provides the Schoen Adams Research Institute with the flexible resources it needs to drive the science of recovery and empower emerging investigators in rehabilitation medicine.

Your gifts to this fund enable our research team to explore new avenues of discovery, launch innovative pilot studies, and support a robust pipeline of talented scientists who will define the future of rehabilitation care.

Rehabilitation Outcomes Center at Spaulding (ROCS)
Outcomes research seeks to understand the end results of healthcare practices or interventions. By studying healthcare systems in action, we capture a more comprehensive picture of the many factors that play a role over the course of a person’s recovery. Philanthropy to ROCS will help us advance and sustain this work, which will ultimately improve the quality of rehabilitation care.

Special initiatives

Some places call them extras; we call them essential. These are the special programs that build on the foundation of our extraordinary care to improve quality of life for our patients and families.

Your support of our special initiatives enables Spaulding to go above and beyond to enhance care and enrich lives.

Supportive surroundings
