• I would like to call out Dr. Armitage and his care team for the level of care they have shown me over the last two years. I have had both triceps and biceps surgery over the last 13 months and I cannot speak highly enough regarding the level of care, bedside manner and overall genuine human goodness their team has shown me. The rare combination of being an A+ orthopedic surgery team comprised of truly great human beings. I will always be grateful and forever be in debt to the team that has taken care of me.

• Working with Mass General Brigham, I sometimes find being with doctors, I feel like I'm just not a human being. I'm just on an assembly line. However, Dr. Armitage was extremely personable. He spent a lot of time with me. He listened to my concerns and I felt as though I knew him and knew exactly what he was going to do. It made me very reassured that I was going to be receiving good care with him and I feel very comfortable with him as my doctor. Thank you.

It was a relief to have finally found a doctor familiar with my underlying condition who truly took that into consideration when deciding the best path forward for me. He was patient, kind, had a calming manner about him, and was able to explain things in a way I could truly understand them. I hope to continue any future orthopedic needs I may have with him, and I would recommend anyone I know to him as well.

• This was my first appointment with Dr. Armitage. He spoke quickly and I wasn't sure if he was explaining things on my x-ray that are contributing to my current issue, or if it was just general information that was noticeable on the x-ray. He did not specifically say that he was ordering an MRI, but gave me the option explaining that it would help with diagnosis since he didn't see anything on the x-ray or exam. I felt like I needed to request the MRI, then he agreed it is the best choice. I left there feeling anxious which is not typical for me.
