Dr. Maurice Albright is an accomplished surgeon who treats all pediatric orthopedic disorders, with emphasis on the pediatric spine and hip.
Dr. Albright earned his BA from Harvard University in 1990 and his MD from the University of Michigan Medical School in 1995. Following medical school, Dr. Albright completed his residency in General Surgery at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and two fellowships in Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery - the first at the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas, Texas and the second at Children's Hospital Boston.
Dr. Albright is actively involved in teaching medical students, residents and fellows through his role as an Instructor at Harvard Medical School and Program Director of the Peabody Pediatric Orthopaedics Fellowship Program.

The doctors and nurses that worked with my daughter were all incredible! You could tell that they really cared and weren't just going through the motions. They all treated her so kindly, talking with her directly, not through me. Their behavior really made what is a stressful situation much better. Thank you to this team!

I believe we were treated with respect and urgency. Although it was busy, the doctor took his time and spoke with us and made sure that we understood everything clearly and made my son also comfortable with the explanation. I was appreciative of the nurse providing me some extra information when we asked for that. And the front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. So I'd like to rate the whole experience between a 9 and a 10. And thank you so much for your work.

Dr. Albright continues to give our child the best care. We respect him and he's incredibly supportive and intelligent. We value his dedication to problem solving. He has worked incredibly hard to help our daughter walk normally and have a fully functioning leg. He has worked with our family for years now. We are grateful to have him on our team. We are a family that travels from a different state to seek his care and expertise at Mass Gen.
