Dr. Micaela Atkins is a gastroenterologist who treats patients in MassGeneral for Children’s Gastroenterology and Nutrition program and the Pediatric Neurogastroenterology and Motility Center.
Dr. Atkins’ clinical and research interests involve the care of patients with chronic gastrointestinal and motility disorders and the relationship between gastrointestinal symptoms and eating. Through the MassGeneral Hospital Center for Neurointestinal Health, Dr. Atkins works with colleagues in adult gastroenterology with a focus on the care and transition of care for adolescents with disorders of gut-brain interaction.
