Brianna Bakow, MD, is an Associate Physician in the Division of Hematology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) with a clinical focus in classical hematology. She received her medical degree and completed an internal medicine residency and hematology/oncology fellowship at Brown University in Providence, RI. Her research is focused on thrombosis, hypercoagulable disorders, and iron deficiency in patients on anticoagulation therapy. Dr. Bakow serves on the Anticoagulation Management Services of both BWH and Dana Farber Cancer Institute, which involve outpatient anticoagulation management and institutional guideline development. She also serves on the editorial board of HemOnc.org and the board of the Massachusetts Society for Clinical Oncology.
