• Dr. Barrera has been my doctor for many years, I think for eight to ten years. He's always pleasant. He knows his stuff. He's very, very accurate. He listens to me and he cares. And that's what I love about him. Because I'm elderly, he doesn't pass me off as just somebody that, you know, doesn't know anything or I'm a hypochondriac. No, he's very, very caring, very concerned. He always tests me. He always makes sure that we get to the root cause of everything and that I'm feeling up to par up to where I'm supposed to be. And yeah, that's why I wouldn't go anywhere else. I'll always be as long as I'm alive, hopefully.

• I've had Dr. Barrera for about 9 years as my PCP. He's caring, sincere and honest. He listens to my concerns and allows me to be myself without forcing me to take a medication I am not comfortable with. I like changing my diet to help with blood pressure and cholesterol issues. He is knowledgeable and he never makes me feel stupid, even though I am elderly. I'm not surprised that he received a promotion because he is dedicated to what he does.
