• I was concerned about the pap smear being a painful experience, since I had not had one in a very long time [redacted] Dr. Braaten, put me at ease and was gentle when doing the exam, which was much appreciated. I made an appointment with Dr. Braaten, after an ultrasound and MRI diagnosis of uterine fibroids and ovarian cysts. [redacted] Dr. Braaton told me that the fibroids and ovarian cysts, I now had, were not a concern and that I would only need a biopsy if I was to bleed again. I appreciated her conservative approach while being thorough, in addition to her informative, caring and gentle demeanor.

She set expectations that I would probably need another procedure and clearly wanted me to experience as little discomfort as possible. She explained every step as she was doing it, when to expect pain and what it would be like. A very caring provider.

I don't know how they manage to make me feel like their sole patient in these busy times, but they do.
