• Unlike a previous appt. with a prior MD at the NSPG, Dr. Carrier addressed my 3 month long knee pain differently, bypassing the suggested Cannabinoid usage and administering a steroid injection into the R Knee with instant relief, followed by further injections at 3 month intervals prn. A soft brace also was suggested, ordered and in current use. Instant relief ! He also reviewed xrays from the Add. Gilb. ER taken days before revealing moderate to severe degenerative changes of the lateral and anterior knee compartments and other abnormal findings.

• The doctor was very approachable and he doesn't think my problem is in his field. However he gave me a script for PT and he quickly jumped up to show me a couple of stretches that might help me. He also said I could try some meds and to feel free to message him if I wanted to try it.

• This was a very busy office. Upon arrival I was directed to the xray area. There was just a short wait after which I went back to the patient waiting area. The wait there was a bit longer than I expected but the doctor obviously had already examined my X-rays when he saw me. He explained what he saw and what the "fix" would in easy to understand terns. A referral was made and I received a call the next day from the referral office for an appointment .

• Other than being fairly late, I found Dr. Carrier to be professional, thorough, genuine. He spent obviously time reviewing our records. He showed the comparative slides of MRIs and x-rays. And he referred me on to a doctor at Mass General Boston for a second opinion. And I thought he did a good job.
