Dr. Cestari and his resident did a number of vision tests on me and have recommended me for surgery to correct my double vision. Dr. Cestari explained the cause of my current blurry vision and how the surgery would eliminate it. He explained the surgery in detail and the possibility of future surgeries. I was impressed by Dr. Cestari.

• Dr Cestari has performed strabismus surgery for me twice. He explained all aspects of the surgery and recovery. He respected my opinions, especially about wanting the second surgery as opposed to prism glasses. His pre-op exams were comprehensive-he spent a lot of time with me. Post-op exams have been gratifying for both of us. Not only is he a highly skilled surgeon, he's also one heck of a nice guy.

• I waited nine months to see this doctor and I was very disappointed with how curt he was with me and I didn't feel that he really listened to me. He felt that he couldn't help me and he explained very briefly why he felt that was the case. He did encourage me to get a second opinion about a different issue with my eye with somebody from the same practice where he is.
