• I appear to have rare Autoimmune Disease and sought a specialist in a Center of Excellence to help me rather than from a local Rheumatologist. I have only had an initial appointment with Dr. Casetelino but was impressed with her knowledge, communication skills (listening and speaking) and "bedside manner" (she seems very genuine, empathetic, patient, and approachable). My goal is to have the best possible care team and have not hesitated to travel more than two hours each way to access them, and already feel fortunate to be in her care.

• Dr Castelino was the first doctor to see the linkage between my Crohn's disease and my swollen foot, and the first to prescribe a drug that effectively addresses both issues. She has adjusted the dosage from time to time to maximize the drug's effectiveness. She is also a good listener. I am very happy with the care she has provided.

• Yes, I just wanted to acknowledge that the doctor that I saw in rheumatology was absolutely superb. She definitely didn't rush my appointment where I was a new patient. She sat down and generally talked to me, asked me questions, didn't rush me out of the room, didn't rush through my files, and she came up with a plan that I thought that I could relate to and get some answers from. And I just wish more doctors were like that.

It seemed like she made a decision about whether or not to take my symptoms seriously from the moment she walked in, when she commented that I did not "look like" I had the condition in question. I did not feel comfortable asking questions or challenging her verdict, despite having done extensive research to suggest that her quick conclusion ignored the existence of atypical cases. I wish I could find a Primary Care Provider that I could connect with as well as I did with Dr. Castelino.

We talked about side effects and she suggested I chew gum to increase saliva That is the same information she told me last time. She was very nice and listened to what I had to say but there was nothing else she could offer me. I don't think I will be going back next year unless there is more information On this condition

• As all of my providers go, Dr Castelino is the most caring and efficient. She addresses all of my concerns, and if is unable to help with some, she will direct me to someone who might.
