I have seen this provider twice now and have been very clear in the symptoms that I am feeling and I have felt incredibly dismissed both times. It is, it seems to be locked in that my issue with acid reflux, which I have never suffered for and the medication that I was put on to take care of that did not work and now I'm being dismissed for the symptoms that I'm having. Both the MD and speech pathologist were thorough and empathetic. I was impressed with the thoroughness of my initial visit and care planning. I look forward to the next steps I realize that we may not cure my voice issues but I can take steps toward control of some aspects of the issues. Please know that I am an RN with much clinical experience, including quality management As a result I tend to look at providers with an eye toward quality. I would say that Dr Dwyer and [redacted] provided a good experience for this patient who is not used to being a patient. Thank you

Overall good Experience. I did have to wait quite awhile because of someone before me, but also know That if that was me it is necessary. His follow up times are Lengthy. 4 week f-up turned into almost 10 weeks. That is a little frustrating. But still overall Good experience.

As always the care and attention I receive from the staff, nurses, doctors and other medical professionals is outstanding and better than any provider outside of Mass General Brigham & Women's.

I very much appreciated the quickly scheduled consultation, and was impressed with the competence of the entire team, but realized afterwards that in the rush to chacterize the cause of my swallowing problems they had omitted to focus on some of my documented symptoms, in particular excessive swallowing of air and hypersensitivity in the throat. Thus another consultation will be needed.

I have had a chronic condition for quite a while. I had seen a different laryngology office and was very disappointed. Dr. Dwyer and his team did not disappoint. Looking back on my visit, it was seamless. My concerns and worries were at ease as Dr. Dwyer was very patient and walked me step by step in the entire process! He was thorough and provided relaxation and breathing techniques when the camera was inserted in my nose. I've never had this type of exam done before and honestly was scared, but he really helped me relax and I felt safe as he was extremely patient and present during the entire time. Not once did I ever feel rushed. A very welcoming experience.

This provider was very, very helpful in terms of explaining things in a way that I could understand. Also, he asked this for the next appointment that happened in Foxboro. I was really happy to know that he goes there once a week in Foxboro. Lives close to there. Coming into Boston is sometimes really hard. So it's really helpful that he let me know that I have an option. Thank you.

Dr Dwyer explained what he needed to do in order to see my vocal cords. The procedure was painless and accomplished efficiently in order to provide a picture of what is wrong with my voice. The doctor and his colleague were extremely rude and dismissive during this appointment. They made it clear that they did not want me there and tried to wrap up the appointment as quickly as possible. I was not treated with care and the doctor did not want to listen to what I had to say. [redacted]

Always professional and courteous.
2025-12-03
-
Dr. Dwyer was not the most pleasant provider I've seen. As an adolescent transitioning from[redacted] I felt that my provider was a bit harsh, and I was not explained or walked through things as I would be during my experience and my typical adolescent medicine visits. some of Dr. Dwyer's instruction and explanation felt a bit condescending at times. well, Dr. Dwyer was helpful in getting me referred for a sleep study and, getting me medicine prescribed to help control some of my issues, my overall experience was not the most pleasant and I left feeling very discouraged to attend my follow up that we discussed in [redacted].

Initially was not sure about "bedside manner" but I warmed to him and he appeared knowledgeable and spoke directly to me about options.
2025-11-09
-
Dr Dwyer had a nice professional manner.
2025-11-09
-
Provider of substantial intelligence who obviously applies themselves to every aspect of patient care without getting too caught in the weeds. They convincingly evince experience incommensurate with their apparent youth in a way that seems much more aspirational than narcissistic-a hard line to walk. Nevertheless, I'm still very, very uncomfortable. My palatial arches yank to the left.

I thought Dr Dwyer had extremely poor bedside Manor with Me, the Dr. ask about the medications I was taking for my issue, one was a nasal spry and I mentioned that I can't always remember to take it . then he began berating me and couldn't understand why I can't remember to take this medication, maybe I have dementia, that dr. has no right to treat patients like that, It is none of his business !!!!!!!!! I refuse to see any physicians that can't treat patients with Respect.

-
Needs to work on his bedside manner
2025-11-01
-
Good answers, only complaint was I had questions about a procedure wanted to talk to him about it but he never responded
2025-11-02
-
The team approach was clearly well thought out from beginning to end and I found it very effective and patient centered. Both the doctor and the SLP were extremely helpful. Far, far superior to a prior ENT experience I had a few years back at a different provider.
2025-10-28
-
The experience felt rushed and I didn't have enough time to absorb everything (or he didn't listen well enough)
2025-10-29

I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE DR. HE PRESCIBED A NEW MEDICINE AND HAD A FOLLOW UP PLAN. HE ALSO GAVE ME CLEAR WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS TO FOLLOW .

He was dismissive and just not friendly. Did not seem to care what I was saying and just lumped me in a category or his choosing. My situation is complex and I felt minimized.

Dr. Dwyer is simply wonderful
2025-10-11
-
Both the speech therapist and the doctor were very thorough in going over my symptoms. The scope procedure was explained to me and the results gone over with me in detail. The speech therapy treatment plan was laid out for me and the need for a follow up appointment with Dr. Dwyer to repeat the scope procedure was explained and scheduled.

I had a complicated problem and the doctor and speech therapist worked together in giving and interpreting tests -and giving me information. They spent a great deal of time and I felt I received very caring and extremely competent care,

Dr. Dwyer didn't seem to think I should be in his office. He asked why I made an appointment with him. He was condescending in his approach. I explained to him that Dr. [redacted] told me to make an appointment with him. He told me she was "sending me down rabit holes." He did not seem prepared regarding my history. After I indicated that I was not please with our conversation, his attitude changed somewhat. [redacted]

He was very knowledgeable and easy to talk with.
2025-09-22

Dr Dwyer is exceptional and always listens to my feedback
2025-09-21
-
[redacted] I found him to be overly casual, not particularly engaged or interested.
2025-09-20
-
Dr Dwyer was very thorough and caring on my initial visit. The virtual follow up visit to discuss test results and what to do next was upsetting to me. I had difficulty making the connection. Had no visual, so when he was going over visual test I had difficulty understanding what he was explaining. I don't think he knew me and thus the discussion for next step left me hanging, regarding what to do next. Unfortunate, because I think Dr Dwyer is a very good doctor.
