• I thought the doctor was wonderful, just amazing, very thorough, very thoughtful. She totally knew my history already, but wanted to hear it from me as well, and asked me really good questions. She included some information that about, say, actually, it's gynecological surgery, right? About sexual stuff that was really helpful to hear, but I probably wouldn't have had the nerve to ask. So just really wonderful, really comprehensive, very respectful, very nice, very personable, very made me really trust that she was a great person to do my surgery. So thank you.

• I really appreciate the care and attention this doctor, Marcela Guadalupe del Calmen, gave me and my family. It made a difficult situation feel much more manageable. Her combination of medical expertise and compassion, especially cultural sensitivity with the Hispanic population was remarkable. She made me as a patient feel safe even in very stressful circumstances. The work she does in gynecologic oncology is incredibly important and the way she supports her patients through it is truly admirable. She took the time to explain everything so clearly and treated me with such kindness and respect and upheld my dignity. It made a huge difference in my experience. So thank you for her professionalism and dedication. Her care has meant, has been a very meaningful impact in my life.

• Dr. Marcela del Carmen is wonderful, very kind, and professional in every way. The nurses are helpful, explain things, and are friendly. The whole team is empathetic. The only person who wasn't very empathetic was the one who took my blood samples in the lab; perhaps because of the workload and the speed at which she had to work, she couldn't be particularly kind that day. But overall, I'm very happy to be in the hands of such a professional team as Dr. Marcela del Carmen. Thank you.

She listens and she hears what you say and she is just full of information and most of all, she's kind and lovely and just very sweet the way she talks about difficult subjects with me.
