• My case was probably not as serious a case as he's likely to see. Just some PVC concerns combined with a medication I was also taking. Overall my health, weight and blood pressure are excellent and on this day surprisingly and happily NO PVC were present. I did forget to tell him I had cut my caffeine intake in half after these were discovered almost a year ago. That could possibly be significant? He was thorough, not in a rush, asked important questions and answered mine and concerns I had. Unfortunately he could not view all my medical information from Acton Medical Associates/Emerson Hospital due to different systems used to enter information. He was going try to get that straightened out so he could view my history and recent physical bloodwork. Without me saying anything he could clearly see I had to drive into Boston for this appointment and he was going to set up my stress test and echocardiogram out at Emerson hospital which is convenient for me. Very positive visit and I left feeling good.

• Hello, my care provider is always very good at getting me to think about my cardiac issue and during our appointments his leading questions allow us to flesh out any issues that may have come up over the past year. These questions and answers allow me to ask what I want to know more about. He also is thinking all the time, answering my questions and bringing up his own questions for me.

• It was my first appointment with Dr. Danik. My Doctor left MGH and I asked my Cardiologist and PCP fora recommendation. They both provided me with 2 names. Independently they both recommended Dr. Danik. I could quickly see why. When he introduced himself he told me he had read over my medical history. I could quickly tell he definitely had. When he said "you're a young man" (I just turned [redacted]) I have to admit I had a "moment" and wondered if he was the right choice ?but he used it to lead into an excellent discussion about my medical history and potential medications I may want to consider. He laid out the facts, and provided me with statistics to help make the pros and cons clear to evaluate. When I told him I may want to talk to my Cardiologist, who has been with me since my bypass, he totally understood. In fact he welcomed and encouraged me to talk with him. This was a welcomed change from the last conversation I had with my previous Doctor. Dr. Danik was a true professional.

• Hi, this was my annual pacemaker checkup. I saw Dr. Danik. I've done the original pacemaker. Every year I've had a follow-up. And getting in there, no problem. The staff is good, answer all of my questions. And in the event of anything that goes on, they always contact me.
