• I always have a great interaction with Dr Demarco and feel like I'm getting good guidance and direction on my healthcare. One area for improvement I would suggest is an easier interface with his team and communications. It seems emails via Patientgateway get dropped, or calls to the office don't make it to him. When I finally get through, things are smooth.

This was a pre-operative clearance appointment, and he reassured me that everything would be fine, that I was in good shape for the surgery, and that the chance of something going wrong was mathematically small, although obviously possible. Overall, He understood I was a little nervous, and he took great care to let me know that he understood, and that all the indications were that I was in very good health, and chances of success were extremely high.

But, for the 2nd year in a row, my annual physical exam was inadequate. Listening to my heart & lungs along with a cursory exam of my neck, which certainly didn't pass as an exam of my thyroid, is simply not thorough and is very disappointing, especially given my age and complex medical history. My former PCP, [redacted], did a head to toe annual exam and I was able to leave his office feeling reassured.That is not the case following my visit with Dr. Demarco.
