• It was uncomfortable and felt incredibly rushed for a new patient visit. I've had a lot of history and had some mounting concerns. Only two of my concerns were addressed and others were dismissed. It was disheartening to come to a new office as a woman going through a new phase of my life and not feel heard, instead to feel rushed and uncomfortable.

The only thing that I wasn't really happy about was when I came in, I didn't really have the opportunity to be accurately weighed in. I was still wearing all my boots and heavy clothing sweater and like I just feel like it didn't give an accurate sense of how heavy I was, which is supposed to help with my health. So I did not appreciate that kind of felt like it was done very hazardly or quickly. So overall, fine, but that's it.

It like actually was so touching to be with a doctor who took her time and was really warm and human with me. It was a great experience and really decreased my anxiety significantly. • So many providers go over the top regarding gender stuff that it can feel patronizing, but everyone in the office treated me as any other human coming in for care. No one made a big fuss to show that they were allies but still used non gendered language and relevant medical information to my body without making any assumptions. It was 10/10 experience as a genderqueer person.
