• Dr. Fogel is exceptionally knowledgable, compassionate, an excellent listener, and particularly good to explaining Imaging and surgical options in understandable terms. He encourages and welcomes patient and family involvement, explains the procedure(s), the outcomes, and the course of post-operative care. Dr. Fogel is board- certified in orthopedic surgery and fellowship - trained in spine surgery, treating cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine disorders. I highly recommend Dr. Fogel's for his clinical talents, area of expertise, his clinical outcomes and for the exceptional interpersonal relationships he establishes with patients and their families.

• Undertaking surgery is a heavy decision. I found Dr. Fogel to be a good listener and a great communicator. He walked me through the results of my imagining and answered my many questions in an understandable and digestible way. When I told him the activities in my life that gave me joy, he indicated that the goal of the surgery would be to help gain that quality of life back. The way he spoke to me showed me that a patient's well-being was just as important to him as it was to me. Also, having read his clinical notes post-surgery clearly showed me how methodical and meticulous he was throughout the procedure. All this demonstrates not just his medical expertise and skill but more importantly how he cares and strives for the best patient outcome so that I can return to an active lifestyle. Currently, I am about a third through my recovery timeline, but I can see significant and positive changes in my movements. So, I'm truly happy that I went through the surgery and felt that I was in good hands with Dr. Fogel, pre- and post-op.

• Doctor Fogel was excellent. He and his staff took the time to get to know me, my goals and lifestyle, health history and current challenges. He did an excellent job of asking key questions to get a solid understanding of my issues and past history to form a more complete picture prior to his diagnosis. He clearly explained his observations of my prior MRI, X-ray and prior treatments as a foundation for his hypothesis of my situation. He then provided clear next steps for my treatment plan to get to my desired outcome. Doctor Fogel has also been excellent with timely follow up after my visit.
