• I see Husam Farah. He's a wonderful doctor, explains everything to me. He's very good. He goes over everything, orders my blood work, and he takes good care of me.

• Previously, I told Dr. Farah I was suffering from severe dizziness. It turns out I had a previous cardiologist who subscribed Entresto. I lived with this drug approximately 1 or2 years. I was feeling very dizzy during this time. Dr Farah changed this drug for Losartan. Made great improvement!

• He offered me something new I should try with my problem. I really appreciated that. He also made sure I will take a blood test to make sure that all the readings are normal after increasing the dosage of Tormeside.

• The only thing I did not like about my appointment this time was the fact that the care provider did not even check to see how long I had been taking a certain medication before prescribing another one for a certain medical issue. I wish that he had asked me how long I had been taking the second medication before he prescribed the third medication, which I am not taking because I cannot afford it, and I had just barely started taking the second medication. Other than the stated issue, I am very pleased with Dr. Farah and his care.

• I found this doctor to be highly competent, very intelligent, and respectful, and everything about the visit was positive. However, the healthcare system in general is just so inhumanized. He says, you don't feel, you just feel like a number. It felt like I came in quickly, was asked a bunch of questions quickly, and then thank you very much, and I could go. And that has nothing to do with the doctor. I think the doctor was a terrific person. I really liked him. But the system is such that I don't feel connected enough, if that's the correct term, to my medical practitioners and to the practice in general. I don't think they really know me as a person, which I think is not beneficial to my overall healthcare. Nobody does anything wrong, but it's just impersonal. I don't know why that is. Thank you.

For example, he had reviewed the reports from my lung surgery 3 yrs ago, and had examined the CT scans I have had pursuant to that surgery. And I thought he could have proved me further to give me suggestions of how to approach my concerns and maybe how to explain them better next time, what kind of information he needs.
