• Dr. Freitag was not the first ocular specialist I had seen, but she was the only one that listened to me, that understood what I thought the problem was, was interested in what I had to say, and also was so much more knowledgeable than the other ones that I had seen previously. I can't tell you how happy I was with her. She was excellent.

And it can be a two-edged sword because sometimes it feels like you're just rushed and she expects everybody to know exactly what it is she's saying. And there are times you still have questions even after you're done. And even when you ask the nurse, they seem to be confused because like, for example, they thought I was going for a test and then Freitag saw me and they never did the test even though the nurses were under the impression I was supposed to have it. And they were really confused about it. And also with FreiTag, I was recommended drops. She left the room without really explaining. I'm sitting there going, was she supposed to give me a prescription after? And it turned out it was just over-the-counter draws, but it was never explained fully to me. So it left me in a state of confusion where I had to ask the nurses and they weren't even sure when they looked at the notes.

• I was very pleased with Dr. Freitag. I was so nervous about my thyroid eye disease and hadn't got really any answers. And it's hard, thyroid eye disease, very hard to tell someone that, you know, you're going to get over it because you're not. But the doctor was very good explaining things to me, what might happen. I wasn't happy hearing that, but she was honest and she was accurate and I felt very comfortable and she gave me hope.

• [redacted] I was having some complications from my surgery. Evidently my lymph glands reacted to the eye surgery. [redacted] When I had the appointment with Dr. Freitag, she almost was dismissive of me. When I asked her about Having the rest of my eyelids lifted she was very dismissive of that surgery. I came to her for an eyelid lift the lower eyelid lift was what she suggested first. I have told her that my vision is not that good with my eyelids drooping. She told me to lift my eyelids would not improve my vision that much. I don't know if she was angry with me for trying to get answers about my surgery or what was going on. The surgery she performed is good. She made the comment at the end of our visit. My work here is done. I thought that was a little odd. sure she's frustrated [redacted].
