Allan Moises Goldstein, MD

I received my M.D. degree from Harvard Medical School in 1993 and completed residency in general surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital from 1993-2000. I completed a 2-year fellowship in pediatric surgery at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center in New York. In 2002 I returned to Mass. General to join the Department of Pediatric Surgery. My practice is limited to the surgical care of infants, children, and adolescents. I practice the full spectrum of pediatric surgery, including neonatal surgery, abdominal and thoracic surgery, and advanced minimally invasive pediatric surgery. My area of expertise is in neurointestinal diseases, such as Hirschsprung disease, esophageal achalasia, gastroesophageal reflux, intestinal dysmotility, severe constipation, and neurogenic bowel. My practice is based at Mass. General Hospital in Boston. In addition to my clinical practice, I lead a research lab studying the enteric nervous system and serve as Chief of the Division of Pediatric Surgery and Surgeon-in-Chief of Mass General Brigham for Children.
