He's fantastic, always listens, takes time, very smart. I can't imagine someone any better than him to take care of my mom, who can be, she's lovely but difficult to understand and he's incredibly patient, thoughtful, and conservative about what he orders in terms of treatment. He's just awesome.

• Losing Dr. G. to a concierge firm is devastating considering the existing plan until his role is filled and given the limited options for primary physicians taking new patients. For the first time in over 20 years its forces me to consider doctors outside of MGH, sad times. But MGH does nothing to help bridge patient care for doctors in transition, also sad way to treat patients/customers. This practice alone, from what I was able to gather during my past appointment, will be losing at least 2-3 doctors. MGH, while not alone in this problem, can do better helping build loyalty by helping bridging to new primary doctors. The lack of patient or customer care is more Walmart-like than a professional medical profession.

The other thing about Dr. Gaposchkin is that I'm sorry he's leaving Mass General Brigham. I understand that's going to happen sometimes in May. That's unfortunate.

Only thing that was a little odd about this visit was I told him I thought that I didn't need a referral for mental health counseling or psychological counseling or whatever, and yet someone followed up and seemed to be wanting to offer me a program of mental health counseling. So I think it was just a simple misunderstanding. Again, I think Dr. Gaposchkin is excellent and I would like to keep him as my doctor. Thank you.
