Dr. Gomez-Isla is the Chief of the MassGeneral Brigham (MGB) Memory Disorders Division, the Director of the Massachusetts Alzheimer's Disease Research Center (MADRC), and the Director of the MGB Dementia Fellowship Program. She received her medical training at the University Complutense in Madrid, Spain, and completed her residency in neurology at the Hospital Doce de Octubre, also in Madrid. Following her residency, she undertook a clinical and research fellowship in Dementia at Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Gomez-Isla has previously served as Chief of the Memory Disorders Unit at Clinica Universitaria of Navarre in Pamplona, Spain, and at Hospital Santa Cruz y San Pablo in Barcelona, Spain. Currently, she sees patients and conducts clinical research at MGB, while also performing basic research at the MassGeneral Institute for Neurodegenerative Disease (MIND).
