• Dr. Hirsemann is not only the best gynecologist I've ever seen, but the best doctor period. She listens to her patients without judgement. She never minimizes concerns about pain associated with procedures and instead normalizes these experiences and proactively addresses them in a way I have never experienced. And her ability to communicate with her patients is unparalleled- she explains things in an easy to understand manner without ever making you feel like she's talking down to you. She also seems to be on the forefront of advances in gynecology from pain management with IUD insertions to HRT for early menopausal women. I have never written a review for a physician before, but Dr. Hirsemann's expertise, care, and bedside manner is truly exceptional.

I was 10mns late and I am sure she had a busy schedule, but she was so attentive, so kind, answered all my questions, and explained things in a way that made since to me. She heard my concerns and adjusted my care plan to meet those requests. Being an African American woman we often desire an African American physician, for the comfort and the care that we receive from someone who looks like us. Honestly, my interaction with Dr Hirsemann subsided all those feelings. I felt comfortable with her and have no doubt that I am in good hands. Thank you so much for the care you give!
