• I met with Dr. Hu with considerable discomfort on my Anterior Talofibular Ligament of my right ankle. I was in an orthopedic boot and concerned due to the pain level that there may in fact be a hairline fracture accompanying this ligament sprain. She noted my foot trauma and pain level and ordered a series of X -rays on my right foot that afternoon. This was something that was not done at South Shore Orthopedics and I was clearly concerned about my condition. She told me if the pain didn't subside with physical therapy, there would be other imaging techniques that could be done to resolve a firm diagnosis. I was so grateful to Dr. Hu's timely action with this matter and felt immediate relief knowing that with the X-rays I would have a definite answer to my pain level. She, as always, listens carefully to my concerns and always seems to have a remedy available to my queries. I have been seeing Dr. Hu for many years and she is always respectful, professional, courteous, compassionate and personable. The primary reason I attend Mass General Brigham is because of Dr. Hu. She has successfully targeted my Chronic Kidney Disease and sent me to a nephrologist from whom I have had a productive diagnostic evaluation and subsequent monitoring over the years. It was a huge discovery and one in which I needed professional specialist's attention. Dr. Hu also in her wholistic manner, checks in with my emotional health. Always taking time to ask me questions about how I might be doing emotionally and how my satisfaction with my home life might be. She exhibits a compassionate side that doctors rarely possess, and I am so grateful for her support in this way. Dr. Hu is an outstanding physician. I would be hard pressed to find a doctor as capable, reliable, knowledgeable and bright as her. Her expertise is beyond exceptional and I trust her with my primary healthcare immensely. Dr. Hu has always met me with extremely high energy and happy demeanor. It is more than obvious that she clearly enjoys her profession. I always leave her office feeling the utmost elated and in good spirits after having met with her. Her enthusiasm is contagious and I always feel a sense of profound relief after having my multiple questions answered about my health. She is a remarkable and stellar provider.
