• When seeing how other hospitals conduct themselves, I am VERY pleased with the COORDINATED care of this lung team. I know if I have a problem, my assigned coordinator will call me right back. Most doctors, and nurses on this lung transplant team know me personally, by face, and can tell you my name. You don't get that anywhere else but here that I have seen. This has been INVALUABLE to me. These people are like my second family! I am well taken care of by them. I am NOT: given the runaround and transferred between depts, my care and tests is arranged by them along w my prescriptions. I cannot say enough nice things about this team that saved my life!! I am INCREDIBLY GRATEFUL TO THEM.

• I felt a little rushed at times. Also, as we finished the meeting, I realized that everything we talked about came before I had all the testing and blood draws. It seemed to me that it could have been discussed in the begining. She told me that if my bacterial infection is gone after the treatment at the VA that I should come back and give it a second try. I appriciated that. Over all I think she was friendly and explaied things well. My daughter agrees. I would be fine having her as my docter.
