Motahar Hosseini, MD is a cardiac surgeon at Massachusetts General Hospital and an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Hosseini is amazing. My father came as our patient. She was super, super polite, very compassionate, not just towards him, but towards the family. She explained to us in detail what was the illness and what were some of the consequences if we had a surgery. She really, really made us feel that when we left, we knew everything about my father. So I believe that she's one of the best doctors you have in the hospital. That's number one. And number two is I hope she gets recognized by the hospital about how she makes the patients and their families, because she goes above and beyond, and that is very rare.

Dr Hosseini was phenomenal. She took what is a very scary situation for me and my family and brought a level of education and calm that we very badly needed. She was kind, informed, and clearly an expert in her field. Exactly the kind of care you hope for. As she described the procedure we will undergo, I started to feel lightheaded, nauseas, etc. She stuck with me and my wife, gave us options, and most importantly, instilled a level of confidence in me that I am going to be ok.
