• Dr Hartfelder is very thorough and we went over our records for the past nine years as I'm having a problem I had nine years ago with my esophagus. I primarily have ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease in my lower GI so we are having a scope done soon and meds for heartburn. His entire staff is very good and follows through with things.

• Dr. Hartfelder was wonderful to see me for an unexpected virtual visit. My regular doctor called him that morning for a consult because he felt my case was starting to get so unusual that he felt I needed to be seen by someone more familiar with my c. Diff. I have been battling c.diff since [redacted] because of antibiotics after oral surgery. [redacted] Dr. Hartfelder was wonderful! He was attentive, we talked about all I had done over two months to try and beat this and made me feel that sooner or later I will beat this. Thankfully he has agreed to take me on as a patient, he prescribed the next round of medication, and we talked about what to do next if I relapse again.

• I'm very fortunate to have Dr. Ronald Hartfelder as my GI specialist. He is understanding, kind, thorough, very detailed. He's an overall great doctor for other issues that are surrounded or possibly linked to GI issues, and he takes all the time necessary with his patients. I've known him for a number of years, and I'm very pleased that I'm still his patient. Even though he's moved on to other roles, he kept his basic patients, and I was fortunate enough to be one of them.
