• One of the receptionists has a very big attitude problem. She frankly affects the entire experience and subverts the professionalism of this practice. I was so taken back by how rude she was I mentioned it to who was assisting me and they agreed with me and said I was not the first person to say that. She made me feel sub human and ostensibly has a known track record of this behavior. Everybody else was wonderful and my experience truly was a 10/10.

• My appointment with Dr. Kavanagh was based on my request for an in-office visit to have someone listen to my lungs, as I was not feeling 'myself' and wanted to be sure I did not require further care after completing a prescription for zpack (ordered as a result of my reaching out to the MGH virtual urgent care team). Dr. Kavanagh was very thorough. The chest xray she ordered confirmed my lungs were ok. She advised that I should follow up if symptoms don't improve.

• So I was very nervous at first about having a new provider after being with one provider for over eight years at a different Mass General practice in the Boston area. So I was honestly just bumped to Dr. April Kavanagh without a choice coming from the Beacon Hill primary care practice. But I am glad because it seems like she is a great match for me. And not only was I able to book a new meet the doctor's visit within a timely manner, and the receptionist that I spoke to when I walked in to book coming from another appointment, they were so nice. I also ended up having an emergency surgery in that interim between when I booked my established care visit and the actual visit coming up. So totally ended up having to review things.

• Is thorough, but talks very fast, making it a bit hard to absorb all the info. Also, this is the first provider who did not have me change into a gown for my physical. The only "physical " aspect of the exam was listening to my heart and lungs with a stethoscope. But maybe this is ok, as she spent a good deal of time discussing my health care with me.
