My mother, who is amongst the oldest patients at Mass General, a young [redacted], was initially seen through the fellows clinic, though we were unaware at the time that she was going to be seen by a fellow. And she was seen by two different fellows in two subsequent years. It was very difficult for her, given her age. and the lack of continuity and they only saw her every six months, which if you're [redacted] is a lifespan. Dr. Kozberg immediately realized the importance of seeing my mother more frequently and has taken ownership of her case and really we are very grateful for her care and that my mother is now a patient of an attending and won't be passed on to another.

Dr Kozberg is the best doctor I've ever seen. Compassionate and knowledgeable, her ability to pick up a conversation from a year ago seems almost supernatural. I believe her prescription for Memantine has given me some extra years of stability to enjoy my life. [redacted]

I feel that I have a steady health partner in Dr. Kozberg. The "wait and see" approach to certain conditions can be harrowing, and my mind can get creative in its thinking about it, but that worry has been greatly reduced through Dr. Kozberg's empathy and listening skills. Even her staff have been helpful in pushing me to put my health first!

My medical situation is complicated by the fact that the disease itself is not well understood nor is there a cure. Dr. Kozberg was level, measured, specific and extremely informed, and in spite of all the uncertainties I felt that I had a partner in dealing with this illness and in keeping myself alert rather than anxious. She was an enormous help, and very steadying.
