• The doctor listened to me talk about my need for my health insurance to cover my medicine costs. She is going to work with me to help me get a medicine that will provide relief from the pain I am experiencing on a daily basis.

• Dr. Kohler performed the musculoskeletal ultrasound treatment of my arthritic finger extremely skillfully. First, she diagnosed it carefully on the screen so she could see exactly where the arthritis was the worst. Then she froze my finger with a whole finger with a topical cream and then injected painkiller into the two places, one on the finger, one on the knuck, and then injected the cortisone. And she also prescribed some acetametophene Tylenol to take for a week to help further reduce.

It wasn't until five days later that someone called me to set up a follow up. I don't know if it's the sign of the times with healthcare.But I don't understand why a physician cannot call you back when asked by the patient. Dr. Kohler is excellent, however, I think more can be done in one to one communication when in need like this situation.

• Dr Kohler always takes time to listen to my concerns and although this last visit was overwhelming with information she took a moment to listen about my recent struggles and she took one step at a time in explaining things. She showed empathy and is an excellent doctor with great bedside manners. I appreciated that she understands and was willing to work with me on a plan. She explained things step by step allowing me time to write my notes. During the procedure for the injection she explained things step by step and we spoke off topic to keep my mind off of what she needed to accomplish.
