• Listens well, but needs to explain the reasons, processes and how it all works. I guess i understand better if I know how meds etc, work with the body, side effects and future outlooks of what is going on. Inquisitive mind I guess. Feel more comfortable with tmore facts, processes and "why?'.

• This provider is fairly new to me but I am satisfied with her care. I have confidence in her and feel comfortable asking questions.

• I was scheduled to see Dr [redacted] that morning, but when I arrived, I was told that she was out sick. One of the nurses, [redacted], said she could ask the other doctor if she could see me instead. Dr. El Fekih agreed and I only had to wait for an hour. When she entered the room, she had already read my chart and was knowledgeable about my background. She went through all my recent labs, medications and upcoming appointments to make sure I was taking care of my overall health. I had recently been having issues with elevated blood pressure and it took almost a month for a recommendation to add another medication. Dr El Fekih said that she thought I might be better off with a combination medication [redacted] She said she would discuss this with Dr [redacted] when she returned. I was surprised and very grateful that first of all she agreed to see me and that she was so patient, kind, and thorough even though she had to juggle her schedule to fit me in at the last minute.
