When I called a week later, I am not sure what happened, but the office to where I had been referred didn't hear from Dr. Lin's front office. Only when I contacted myself directly the office to which Dr. Lin wanted to refer me, did they hear for the first time about the referral from Dr. Lin. I am not sure where the problem was, the other office is at MGH. The whole referral process which should have taken a couple hours, took two weeks, and ONLY when I called them directly myself.
