• These annual physical visits would greatly benefit from the care provider asking structured questions about my health and health concerns I'm experiencing, instead of open-ended small talk questions. Care providers should be trained to ask structured questions such as, "Are you experiencing any new health concerns?"; "How are your existing health issues (go down the list of existing health issues in chart)?"; "Do you need refills on existing medications?".

[redacted] My Doctor did take the time for me to catch him up on my previous health history. But the exam seemed more cursory than they have been in years past. I wasn't even asked to take my clothes off and put on a Johnny. [redacted] The doctor was very attentive to my questions. [redacted] I feel he definitely knows what he is doing. So, I am pleased and feel fortunate to be accepted into his practice. It's possible that my previous doctor was old school and they just don't do those things anymore.

This provider was sympathetic and provided more of the traditional physical examination I requested which I feel is a very necessary preventive measure to better ensure any health issues are identified early on that otherwise might go undetected adding to healthcare treatment costs in the long run without earlier detection.
