Dr. Lindsay graduated as a Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Virginia and then continued her education at the University of Virginia School of Medicine, where she was in the Health Professional Scholars Program. She then served as an Active-Duty Naval officer for 12 years. During this time, she worked as a general medical officer in Okinawa, Japan, completed residency and fellowship training and worked as a surgical attending while pursuing clinical and research endeavors in facial plastic surgery. As a fellow in facial plastic surgery at Mass Eye and Ear, she was awarded the Anderson Award by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery for earning the highest score on the 2009 board exam and the Sir Harold Delf Gilles Award for the best Fellow Paper by the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Lindsay was the previous Associate Editor of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery for the journal Laryngoscope and now she is the Editor-In-Chief of ENTtoday, the most read ENT publication in America. She is also on the editorial board for Facial Plastic and Aesthetic Medicine.

Dr. Lindsay has served as a Senior Oral Board Examiner and Exam Council Member for the American Board of Otolaryngology and the Chair of the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Committee for the American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery. She has also served on several Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery committees and is an ad hoc reviewer for several publications.

Dr. Lindsay is an international leader in facial plastics with a dedicated clinical research effort analyzing patient reported and objective outcomes measures to continue to improve the quality of care provided to patients with nasal obstruction, nasal aesthetic concerns, and facial changes associated with the aging process. As an expert in the field, she has served as co-editor for the facial plastics section of Bailey’s Otolaryngology textbook, guest editor for the "Challenges in Rhinoplasty" issue of Facial Plastic Surgery and the "Nasal Valve" issue of Otolaryngology Clinics of North America, and author of "The Functional Rhinoplasty" chapter in the Cummings Otolaryngology textbook. With next to 100 publications, she is a frequent speaker across the globe in the field of facial plastics and reconstruction.

Additionally, Dr. Lindsay has served as the Faculty Chair of the Joint Committee of the Status of Women and the Faculty Chair of the Professional Equity Sub-committee at Harvard Medical School and the Chair of the Women in Otolaryngology Research and Survey Committee for the American Academy of Otolaryngology.

This place is the best practice I've found in any discipline. Everyone from the front desk [redacted], to the doctor at the end of the visit (Robin Lindsay), and everyone in between seems to genuinely care about your well-being. They are kind, take their time, and of course, know what they're doing. It's comforting to know that, at the very least, eye and ear problems aren't something I have to be stressed about!
