He found a lesion on my face that I had not even noticed myself; last year he found one on my arm that was also small. He has a sharp eye, and I trust him to do what's best and treat any suspicious lesions in a timely manner.

• Arash Mostaghimi, MD is a brilliant Dermatologist, which is a quality i can quickly recognize, since my father was also a brilliant Dermatologist. Dermatology requires siadnostic expertise that draws from what is visible, the patient's narrative, ruling out all other possibilities, and examination. He was respectful, attentive, took all factors of my dermatological symptomatolgy into consideration, and, upon my request, retrieved a Woods Light to rule out the top "easy" categories the had to be disqualified.He offered the standard script, if I wanted to remedy appearance, but which must be taken for the remainder of my life, to prevent a "kick back" effect. I declined, to which he added" I understand. let me know if you change your mind." He then suggested a topical treatment to ameliorate symptoms, was writing it down, but I assured him I would remember it, conveyed admiration for my capacitity to retain the information. [redacted] Arash M himself could not have been more respectful while keeping his focus on his diagnosis. The unwelcome news he had to deliver was communicated in a compassionate manner.
