• Dr Mcentire made me feel welcomed and truly listened to me. He has some of the best diagnostic skills I've ever experienced. I felt he was treating the whole person especially by asking me questions about perimenopause and explaining my diagnosis in light of hormonal changes I am going through. He outlined treatment options clearly and let me choose to start with what I'm comfortable with first. The world and women need more doctors like Dr Mcentire! Thank you!

• [redacted] I hope that Dr. McEntire gets to read this because I TRULY want to HUG him to show my EXTREME GRATITUDE for being SO AMAZINGLY KIND AND COMPASSIONATE to me. My appoint. need: NEURO/PAIN Evaluation by him is a Direct Result of a Very TRAUMATIC [redacted] ATTACK I suffered on [redacted] with Permanent Damage/Complications. The REALITY hit me when he greeted me of how badly I must be damaged to actually need a Neurology Consult. I asked for a BRIEFING before we began. I needed him to know how high my anxiety level was as I needed to describe the attack a bit so assist him with mechanism of injury understanding, etc. I was on the edge of an anxiety attack. The WAY that Dr. McEntire embraced me and supported me emotionally was ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING. He lowered his voice to a soft, calming decibel. He immediately abandoned the Computer and leaned forward with direct eye contact and told me how Sorry he was that this happened to me and assured me that we will proceed at my pace. He made me feel SAFE and EXTREMELY CARED FOR with empathy, GENUINE warmth. He said it's OK if I cry or need to step out for 5 minutes. And his Warth is GENUINE, not for show. I just had to report this. His Extreme Emotional Intelligence and Kindness Completely STABILIZED Me emotionally and my anxiety level dropped. His KINDNESS actually HEALED me a bit as it was a Tough Morning emotionally for me having to RELIVE the attack a bit to explain the injuries. I just want him and you to know that HE IS AN AMAZING HUMAN BEING and it was a PRIVILEGE to be seen by him. His impact on me is far reaching. It's Amazing what a little Empathy and true kindness can do for your soul. I hope MGH Neuro Chair/Leadership reads this and understands what an Asst Dr. McEntire is to the Neuro Practice. HE ELEVATES it. Clinically, I found him to be very smart, with great skill in performing a custom-tailored physical Neuro Assessment Exam based on my symptoms. I felt confident when he explained that YES indeed a General Neurologist like him IS the appropriate choice for my problem and that he is quite familiar with Neuropathic Pain Post Traumatic or not. AND just by spending a few minutes observing me examining me and listening to my story like a good detective he was able to give me a preliminary diagnosis/likely etiology theory of my Pain Cause.
