• This doctor is the ultimate professional. He truly cares about me as a patient and as a human being. He was incredibly thorough and was well prepared for our meeting. He had done his homework and was clear about his findings and expressed them in a language I can understand.

• I was quite impressed, once again, with the way in which the doctor took the time to explain and the interest that he seemed to show in ensuring that I understood what was said. He did not give the impression of being there for a mere pay cheque (check) and had to rush to the next patient. I truly felt that I was given the time to understand what he was saying to me and also to be understood. This might seem simple; however, this level of care is not as prevalent as should be, across the board; within health facilities. Although, I have experienced great service with my other doctor at MGH as well.

• I am very satisfied with the care I get from Dr Meyer and his staff. I drive over three hours for my visits with him so that should say a lot. Dr Meyer is well prepared and very thorough when reviewing my chart. He explains things in easy to understand terms and answers nearly all the questions I had on my list to ask before I even had a chance to ask them. He covers every option available for treatment related to my condition and explains why he would or wouldn't recommend them and why. I NEVER feel rushed as if he's in a hurry. He takes the time with my wife and I that's needed to cover all questions and answers. I also never feel that he orders unnecessary tests or medications. Dr Meyer is also very diligent about getting me my test results and responding to any questions I send online in a timely manner. He absolutely acts in my best interest. I highly recommend Dr Meyer.

It's very hard to find a doctor who takes autonomic dysfunction such as POTS seriously, or to find a cardiologist willing to work with POTS patients (as last time I was just referred to neurology again). I felt listened to and like he really wanted to help. We changed my medications to help my tachycardia, and he mentioned other medications too- if increasing my propranolol doesn't make me feel better. He was very thorough, and went through everything clearly with me. Would definitely recommend!
