Dr. Leila Mankarious is a fellowship-trained pediatric otolaryngologist who has a special interest in caring for children with ear, nose, and throat disorders, especially ear conditions.
Her clinical interests are centered around children with ear problems such as tumors (cholesteatoma), infections and fluid, drum perforations, retractions, sensorineural hearing loss (SNHL), and pediatric cochlear implantation. She is also interested in early correction of external ear deformities such as “prominent” or “folded” ear.
Dr. Mankarious has been an invited speaker at national and international meetings and has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in the field. She serves as an ad hoc reviewer for many journals including Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery and Annals of Otology, Rhinology, and Laryngology and is a member of many national otolaryngology organizations.

I just want to say she's an amazing provider. She did help make my daughter's procedure smooth and quicker. I wasn't expecting to have an early appointment, but thank you to her and the whole team of the MGH Hospital Mass Eye and Ear. We appreciate all of them. Dr. Mankarious is absolutely wonderful and out of the team of doctors my daughter sees, she is, Dr. Mankarious is my daughter's absolute favorite. She is absolutely wonderful completely. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Mankarious .

My daughter has been seeing Dr. Mankarious for the last 15 to 18 years and we would not go anywhere else. She is the best. She is caring and she is very qualified. She's done numerous surgeries and she has a great bedside manner.
