• The MA who assisted my visit could have been more compassionate. IUD replacement/removal procedures are challenging and anxiety provoking. As someone with chronic pain, I try to advocate for myself when I anticipate something that may exasperate the norm. Unfortunately when I expressed my concerns about pain to talk through the pain control plan, she said in response to my concerns about pain "why are you worried, did you look up people talking about the pain online?" It would have been more helpful to listen fully and acknowledge what I was saying before reacting.
