It was evident that Dr. Mahooti had a lot of experience with my affliction and his treatment plan was very effective. I was comfortable throughout the visit and while he performed the therapeutic procedure. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Mahooti to anyone who finds themselves in a similar situation as me.

• Dr. Mahooti was extremely receptive to addressing the source of my hip pain. He immediately gave me a cortisone shot. It made a total difference in my level of pain, which had become debilitating. I appreciated that the shot was administered at that appointment; I didn't have to schedule a follow-up to receive it. Although doing so may make him run a little behind schedule, it was well worth the wait for the positive outcome I experienced. His consideration of my pain level and his immediate action to address it was much appreciated.

I've seen him for 2 separate pain related issues. My first was a shoulder issue which resolved after 2 visits and haven't had an issue with it in over 2 years. My current issue is being worked on and saw a reduction in pain a few days and looking forward to continued improvement with our plan.

The provider disagreed with the diagnosis and treatment plan I was sent there with, using little to no information, as he asked me no questions about the pain I was trying to address and apparently made a bunch of assumptions and provided care targeted towards an issue I have not complained about. And it turned out it was needling and I have a needle phobia and it all went very fast. He was like, made a diagnosis and said, this is what you need, you need needling, which was a big shock for me. And I didn't have much time to sort of adapt to this new reality, but I didn't want to waste the opportunity. So I felt a little rushed. I had a lot more questions that didn't get answered.
