Dr, Mallery is very professional and knowledgeable... he listens and is very honest about the issue of my condition... there are no definitive answers but he offered suggestions about how I could deal with it...

The doctor explained the answers well. He was very pleasant. I didn't feel rushed. Although I was called in the room late, it's very understandable. I sensed he cares about his patients.

Yes, I think it was a great visit and there was a fellow in the room and I think the doctor did a lot of communicating with the fellow. I think I would have needed a little more communicating directly to me. But all in all, it was a great visit. He's a very good doctor, very kind, very caring, and just good. Thank you.

A few times Dr. Mallery used ophthalmological terminology I was unfamiliar with. On the other hand, there was nothing preventing me, an inquisitive and education-seeking type, from studying up on basic ophthalmological information ahead of time in order to make the best use of the appointment; I didn't even think of doing that. Maybe for the next time!

After going over a thorough description of my past eye issues with Dr. MALLERY and my brain operations, he was brought up to current status. We are going forward and we are going to try to figure out why I have a pressure, high pressure behind my eye and we are going to try to get this figured out. So with between him and my neurosurgeon, they're going to try to get something going as to why this is happening and instead of just letting it go, we're going to try to figure out the actual root cause which I truly appreciate. So yes, Dr. MALLERY is a blessing to have on the ?

Dr. Mallery was personal, professional and thorough, a pleasure to be with particularly for an initial appointment. He plans to discuss my case with another specialist and get back to me. I look forward to hearing from him (or his office) probably after the holidays.

During this particular visit with Dr. Mallery, my experience was average. I would say it was possibly better than several other appointments. I felt that in one appointment, he was actually a little agitated that I had been referred to his office and he was unable to assess me significantly at that time. He seems to know how to read the medical reports and the MRIs but his bedside manners are lacking and several times while I was asking questions he has cut me off and and told me to come back in 6 months.

I have been a patient of Dr. Mallery for nearly three and one-half years. He was one of the first doctors to examine me when I was admitted to BWH with, at that time, a still to be diagnosed neurological disease. Since my diagnosis he has been a constant presence in addressing my condition. I have found him to be a first-rate doctor who has never rushed appointments, always explained things clearly and generally an appointment I always look forward to having. His understanding of my disease and guidance provided has been invaluable and I cannot be more thankful for the good fortune in having him as my doctor.
