• It had been a few years since I last saw hi,, so this was like a catch-up summary let's see where we are appointment, so not too many details. More just to set up imaging and then go from there. He did listen and explain things, but I still felt like I needed to move things along a bit. His office was extremely responsive in setting up the MRI and follow-up appointment. I was very impressed with that.

• You know, I was really impressed with Dr. Makovitch. He was super friendly and helpful during the in-person appointment and then again during the Zoom appointment. And I just thought, wow, this is probably one of the coolest orthopedic doctors I've ever worked with and I've worked with a lot over the years. After that call today, I went and I googled his name to look at his profile page on your website and I discovered that his undergraduate studies were at Penn State, which makes total sense because Penn State University, where I went as an undergraduate, is highly considered in my world to be the number one university in the entire world for turning young adults into fantastic adults. And so Dr. Makovitch should be highly commended for choosing Penn State for his undergraduate studies because clearly they did a great job turning a great young man into a wonderful surgeon.

We had a wonderful conversation prior to the procedure which gave me no time to be anxious. The doctor was on time and very efficient. Explained what he was going to do. It was over very quickly.

• I thought Dr. Makovitch was a great doctor to see for my issue with my knee. He explained things to me and took his time to ensure that I understood all my options for treatment. And not just him, but also his resident that was with him. I forgot her name, but she was great as well. I just thought it was a great visit. There were some comments online that I read about Dr. Makovitch, but I did not experience any of those. I thought he was fantastic, explained things in a timely manner and easy to understand, and gave me three or four options. And at the end of the day, he still made me decide what I wanted to do for, you know, for best for my lifestyle and what I got going on. So I appreciated him very much, and I would definitely see him again and recommend him highly. Thank you.

• Had an appointment with Dr Makovitch and a physician also was there. Was frustrated that the Physician was on his phone texting during the appointment. I asked what he thought about Dr Makovitch take on my case and he responded something totally off topic as he wasn't paying attention. I know the system is strained as it's so hard to get appointments and the Drs are worked hard. My perspective is that I drove 3 hrs roundtrip for the appointment which took a total of 4.5 hrs out of my day and missed work and my health insurance barely covers the appointment. That appointment was really important to me to figure out a solution to my back pain. Was tough having this guy texting during the appointment. Would have preferred he left and came back in after he was done doing what he needed to do. I know I wasn't an urgent case but i really need a solution and would have been great to have another set of eyes on my case. I went to Mass General b/c they are the best. I did not get the best level of service
