He gave me basically a short course on diabetes and diet and diabetes and exercise. And he encouraged me to discuss with him any concerns I had about my current A1C and pre-diabetes status. He also answered questions that I had about medications.

His "bedside manner" is one of relaxed discussion and works to put you at ease so you can actually listen and understand what he is saying, a trait lost on many healers of his generation.
