• Dr Patrick O'Gara is an internationally renowned consultant on heart valves and I am blessed to have his expertise during my second aortic valve replacement on [redacted]. His guidance throughout this medical event has provided support, both medically and emotionally, due to his amazing experience, caring and down-to-earth demeanor. He helped me better understand how my valves are working in conjunction with my heart, both visually and verbally. His quote "the heart remodels itself after a major surgery such as mine" has truly helped to assuage my concerns about some mild leakage of my tricuspid valve. He also reinforced how well my new valve is functioning in concert with my healthy heart muscle! His support has "lifted my heart" on so many levels. My deepest gratitude! [redacted]
