Dr. Andrea Pusic is the Chief of the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Director of the Patient-Reported Outcomes, Value & Experience (PROVE) Centerand a Professor of Surgery at Harvard Medical School. Her clinical focus is breast reconstruction (including DIEP flaps and implant reconstruction) and aesthetic breast surgery. Dr. Pusic’s approach to care focuses on optimizing quality of life for her patients. Her philosophy is that each patient is unique, and that reconstruction should be tailored to the individual and their goals.
Dr. Pusic is a leader in the field of patient-reported outcomes and surgical experience and has published over 200 papers on this topic. Her research involves developing and implementing tools to assess outcomes from the patient perspective. The BREAST-Q, a patient-reported outcomes measure developed by Dr. Pusic, is used around the world to help surgeons appreciate how women feel about the results of their breast surgery. At the PROVE Center, Dr. Pusic’s research team works to better understand how patient’s feel about their outcomes and experiences and use this information to improve surgical care.

I had a great experience with Dr. Andrea Pusic. I also saw her PA. I apologize, I forget her name. I saw her first. Everyone from the front desk to the nurses or medical assistants to the PA to the doctor were wonderful, really took their time and answered questions, made me feel very comfortable. I highly recommend this office. Very easy to get to and just very responsive and respectful and I appreciate them. Thank you.

It was a great visit. A little bit late, they were running a little late, but I know the office was very busy, but I was treated kindly and fairly and respectfully, and I really enjoyed meeting the staff and Dr. Pusic as well. I'm looking forward to the surgery.

Whenever I go to see Dr. Pusic and her PA they are always pleasant and knowledgeable and very respectful. I can ask them any questions and they will respond quickly. I am happy that I chose Brigham and Woman Hospital.
