• I truly appreciated Dr. P's candor. I have a complicated case and he didn't try to sugarcoat that. He provided several scenarios and potentially working with other surgeons. That gave me the perspective that his first priority was the outcome of surgery for my quality of life, he was less focused on how ( or if) the surgery should proceed.

He was absolutely fantastic, and I look forward to my appointments with him. He always explains everything thoroughly, He's very honest, he's very kind, and he really is one of the best.

• Dr. Pommerening is an empathic surgeon who is very generous with his time. He patiently explains in layman's terms complicated medical procedures. I feel quite fortunate having him as my thoracic surgeon.
