The doctor was just wonderful. I was terrified to be having shots in my eye but she was so gentle & truly knew what she was doing. I was so sad the next time I came and I had a different doctor.

• Dr. Patel, makes me feel at ease with every visit. After reviewing my scans I wonder who is enthralled more. At this point it is a celebration!! The fluid has diminished greatly. Knowing the Retina is detaching is a frightening experience. Whatever Dr. Patel tells me to do with my stress level or medications that will increase the fluid I work on myself to take my stress down then I contact my physicians to change or stop my medication(s). I recommend Dr. Patel highly to anyone with this this condition. Many Blessings.

He was also very perceptive - he noticed that my hands are dry and asked if I have a particular medical condition. I do indeed have that condition and it is associated with complications that I had during treatment at another facility, but Dr. Patel was the first person to explain the linkage to me. I completely trusted Dr. Patel's knowledge and expert judgment. He made me feel relieved to be one of Mass Eye's patients.
