• I appreciated being able to get a timely appointment, and that Dr. Stump offered to help with scheduling the follow-up procedures if needed (luckily I did not need help and everything was scheduled expeditiously). The only thing that was concerning was that the follow-up appointment was scheduled for 6 weeks out. Given that I came in for shortness of breath, the prospect of having trouble breathing for another six weeks was not particularly welcome. I didn't think to ask whether someone would follow up with me on my test results before my next appointment, as I just had the thoracentesis that Dr. Stump ordered, and my echo is scheduled for about a month before my follow-up appointment. I assume my oncologist will follow up with me about the thoracentesis labs/pathology, though.
