• I'm a coworker of Dr.Dan Simpson from his previous employer, the South End Community Health....... he has known my late husband and son for well over 30 years....... it's so rare to have a Doctor as dedicated and knowledgeable as Dr Dan Simpson...... I've recommended him to friends, but apparently he's not accepting new patients, what a shame!

• Well, he's just brilliant, and he still, you know, doesn't show it. He doesn't try to brag about it. Just every question I ask, he has an in-depth answer, which is nice. I told him I was taking something from muscle cramps, and he said, what's the name of it? I told him, he said, would you know the ingredients? He said, oh, no. I said, oh, wait a minute. I have it in my purse, took it out. He understood every single ingredient, which looked like Latin to me. He said, oh, that'll be good. I think, oh, I think this is going to be good for you because it's got this and it's got that, it's got nothing relaxed. And he just understood it totally. He's very kind and gave me lots of good ideas. And of course, they came right away. I think even before I got home, they were spelled out in my patient gateway. And he's just a good man. I really, really enjoy being there, even though I'm sick. So thanks so much. Bye.

• I have seen Dr Simpson for 25 years. He is a truly outstanding doctor and a very caring person. His bedside manner is the best. He has done so much for me and I followed him here from the SECHC. Nobody gives better and more thorough physical exams and he trains medical students how to do them. He is a wealth of knowledge with a lifetime of experience. My only regret is that he will retire someday. He is not replaceable. And it will not be the same starting with a new doctor someday. I could not recommend him highly enough. He is a man who truly loves his work. And it shows. He brings so much enthusiasm to the practice. Over the years the staff have let on that they all like him very much and enjoy working with him. His good moods are contagious. And he speaks Spanish too. He is a real gem. The BWH Primary Care Associates of Brookline should nominate him for an award, if such a thing exists.
